Am back in Lotus Land!
It was a sensory overload trip through Paris, Venice, Florence, and Rome. My eyes, and stomach, tried to take in all aspects of France and Italy. Once in awhile, I would purposely just stand there and marvel at a beautiful building, sculpture, or landscape. I felt like I needed to pinch myself to make sure I was truly there standing in front of the Mona Lisa, or climbing up the Eiffel Tower, or being in the middle of the rolling hills of Tuscany. This of course translated into a gabillion pictures which is taking me days to sort through.
The French and Italians sure know how to dress from head to toe. So…. I brought along with me a new closet of duds and threads. Actually the threads are more like in the form of cashmere and silk scarves. And it did not help that they were really beautiful and really inexpensive. Thus the aptly named blog title of ‘New Closet pt 1′ to indicate future postings of my exorbitant new collection.
With my new collection is my brand new very first leather jacket. I like to mix in some edge with the soft.

To make this trip even more whirlwind, coming back we had a 9 hour lay over in London. With that in mind, we dashed to London’s trendy Convent Garden…as evident in the new black skirt I’m wearing.
The shoes in Europe are deadly…to the wallet. I mean…really…how can I not buy this pair of funky punky cool shoes to match with my funky colourful scarves?

The lovely Liv graciously modelled the scarf I got for her. More about her per usual sharp attire to come soon on her blog, It’s a Beautiful Life.

Aside from the fashion, I promise to post my food adventures…that got pretty exorbitant too….
